About Peter Baxter Jewellery
Peter Baxter started his career at one of the most well known workshops in London at the tender age of 16. He soon found his passion in life and quickly found his flair for design.
After completing a six year apprenticeship and working for some years Peter left to start his own company in 1984 and has had many years of experience in the jewellery industry having made commissions for people such as Tina Turner to members of the Royal family.
In 1988 Peter was granted Freemanship of the City of London and made a member of the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths.
Peter Baxter Jewellery is a family run business with Peter and his son now working alongside in the design and manufacturing of the commissions while his wife runs the office.
Peter works mainly designing one off hand made commissions for a wide range of clients. He has one to one meetings with them to discuss designs, materials and types of gemstones they may want. All pieces of jewellery are hand made in Peter’s workshop in London’s West End.
